Attachment will not open [Solved]

Attachment will not open

I can receive e-mails with attachments, but the attachments will not open or save.
However, they will print from the icon.
This applies to all attachments, even those I have been able to save in the past (Vista)

Run CHKDSK
  • Go to the Start button.
  • In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Restart your computer.
