One day last week when my computer loaded the colour's came up all blurry on the screen and the desktop icons are also really big.
I am running Windows Vista and I have an e-machine E4264. I have tried going into settings and changing the resolution etc
for the screen as recommended but this makes no difference.
I have also done a re-store back to a point when the computer was working fine, which was also recommend. I have run a diagnostics thing and and the following things came up.
Issues Found:
* NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS is not working properly
Windows has detected a problem with NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS
* Hardware changes might not have been detected.
What is this problem and how can I solve it? Someone form PC World mention to do a whole system re-store and try to reinstall windows again so it goes back to the original way it was when it was purchased.
I have been on the NVIDIA website and have installed the new version of the driver it recommended but it still hasn't worked.
The screen has been like this for about 4 days now.
Sometimes when I load the computer it's fine but most day's I can't use it due
to this problem.
 
Can anyone please help me or give me any advice about this problem?
