I had backup running for a while, but went to make a change and now when i click on change settings, i get that error.
Ive tried everything i've been able to find online, checking services etc.
i tried sfc but i get 'windows recource protection could not start the repair service' so i tried booting from the win7 dvd and running sfc from there but it found no issues.
I don't know what else to try??
i'm on win7 home prem 64bit

Backup & Restore a particular driver in Windows 7

My close friend is using TAG Bluetooth Dongle.
He got all drivers from Windows Update and everything worked fine, when he used it in early 2011.
After long time he used it recently.
Now Microsoft removed it from the servers and now it says no driver found
for a specific Bluetooth peripheral device.
We searched manufacturer site, but got only Bluesoliel drivers.
after install, it didn't open(that was a cracked s/w).
The particular driver is not available when searched.
Even if available, it can't be downloaded.
So using a Driver scanning software, he got the driver for it and working fine.

Here are the details:
In device manager, in hidden devices, under "Bluetooth Virtual Device-->Bluetooth Video Sink Service".
The driver details:
Driver Provider: Atheros Communications
Driver Date: 3/6/2012
Driver Version: 7.4.0.126
Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher
Hardware ids: BTHENUM\00001304-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb_LOCALMFG&000a

But when searched online, there are different version available.
v7.4.0.122, v8.0.0000.0204 etc.
But the version above solved my problem.
But he want a backup copy of the driver.
Please give me download link(direct/alternate) for the v7.4.0.126.

If there are no download links available, just tell me the way to backup the particular driver as extractable file format which can be restored just by double-clicking(similar to importing and exporting registry as .reg file)

This is the trial version.
Trying to buy the activation code & registrar the trial version to get the full version is a nightmare.

How can I activate this program; I get no sense from the Microsoft store or Microsoft help who advised they do not support this product? Are Microsoft going mad?
