on a social networking site i use my friends list was starting to disappear and has now gone completley
i am unable to send messages or load webcams as it says ims server is not reachable
somewhere on the website it says my download manager needs updating but didnt trust the download source
i use windows xp and am up to date.
if it is a download mangager can you advise me how to get this or please send me a link

Boot in Safe Mode:
- Open Run command as previously described
- Type MSConfig
- Click on Boot tab
- Tick Safe boot in Boot option
- Select Network
- Click Apply and OK
- Reboot your system
Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
