Troubleshoot:Are there any remote controls compatible with Windows 7 Media Center?

Are there any remote controls compatible with Windows 7 Media Center?

Are there any remote controls designed to be used for Windows 7 Media Center? I want to be able to stop and play videos while on my indoor bike trainer.
Will any media center compatible remote work with Windows 7, or are there specific ones I need to choose?
I couldn't find ay such remote control on the Microsoft website, so I would like to know if these exist for Windows 7 media center.  Thank-you!

Hi kanataguy
Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum!

Remotes are for Windows media center and with the extender it does not relate
with the version of operating system.
I would recommend you to purchase a remote which has a green button with windows logo, which specifies that remote is compatible with windows media center.

Here is the link where you can check for the hardware and software compatibility for windows 7:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx
