Change/Set Default program

I am trying to setup what program opens a particular file.
When I right click and select Open With, the program I want is not listed, so I find the program via the select button, yet it will not display and if I select OK it will open the file with a file of Vista's choosing.
In XP there was an advanced option when you could force it.  I cnanot find this in Vista.
The program I am trying to open is a software package called MYOB.  File extension .myo
Any suggestions would be great.

Manually editing the Windows registry

• Click the Start button.
• Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!

• Type "regedit" and hit ENTER.
• In the Registry Editor, select the Error 0x9C-related key (eg. Windows Operating System) you want to back up.
• From the File menu, choose Export.
• In the Save In list, select the folder where you want to save the Windows Operating System backup key.
• In the File Name box, type a name for your backup file, such as "Windows Operating System Backup".
• In the Export Range box, be sure that "Selected branch" is selected.
• Click Save.
• The file is then saved with a .reg file extension.
• You now have a backup of your MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION-related registry entry.
