I need to change the type of label each of 200 files have been formated for.  I can't find information on how to do this.  These are not mail merge documents.  They are labels for inventory and I am changing the type of label I am going to be printing
on.  It shouldn't be necessary to creat 200 new documents.

Word creates labels as tables.
While it is possible to make minor adjustments to cell dimensions, provided the label formats have the same number of labels per page, it is simply not practical to convert existing tables into new tables and transfer all the
data so that it matches the cells.
From your description it seems that you are producing full pages of labels with the same content in each label.
That is easy enough to achieve with mail merge, provided you have the data that will go into the labels, stored somewhere in a format that Word
can use.
You then create a label merge document
