Change the appearance of notification icons.

I am trying to change the appearance of notification icons (the ones located at the right bottom of the screen).
I know how to make the icons not show up, but what I want to do is swap the current icons for different ones that match the style of my desktop.
How do I change them? Do I need to download a program?

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
