Hi Guys

For some time now I have been having this problem when downloading. What happens is that instead of residing in the Folder created for the purpose 'Downloads' all material sets it self in:...........

C:/Graham /AppData / Low / Temp

How do I prevent this happening, I have reset the 'Folder to Download' using Browser Options,
What next please.

G R, see if uninstalling, creating a new profile, and then reinstalling will fix this for you, beyond that I would check in the FireFox forums for more detail on this, it might be on the program side:

Create a new user profile:
Follow these steps to create a new account we can test:
Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking
Control Panel, clicking
User Accounts and Family Safety, and then clicking
User Accounts.
Click Manage another account.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click Create a new account.
Type the name you want to give the user account, choose account type as
Computer Administrator, and then click
Create Account.
Log off and log on with the new account.
Test to see that the issue that you are experiencing is resolved
(To remove the test profile follow the above steps and choose to remove the account from User Accounts).
If the new one works and you find out you have a corrupt profile, take the steps listed in the following article to copy your data over to the new one:

To check for Windows updates. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Update. In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer. If any updates are found, click Install updates.

Install the latest updates for Windows and for the program displaying the error. Note that the update for the program might be listed as an optional update on the Windows Update page.

Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
